Hombalkar Hospital for neonates, infants children and adolescents was established in the year 2000 by Dr. N. N. Hombalkar. This was first of its kind in the city Miraj which is a well-known medical Centre.
The availability of this super- specialty comprehensive Centre for the sick children has filled the vacuum in this medical hub. Hombalkar Hospital is a 40 bedded hospital for neonates, infants children and adolescents. The hospital is equipped with two well equipped operation theatres, Neonatal Intensive care unit (NICU), Pediatric Intensive care unit (PICU), one minor operation theatre, casualty, deluxe rooms, specious private rooms, semiprivate rooms and day care and general ward.The ICUs are equipped with Central Oxygen supply, Warmers, syringe pumps, infusion pumps, phototherapy units, multipara monitors and round the clock staff nurse. There is 24 hours Hospital Pharmacy for the in-house patients. The hospital has in-house routine investigations facility and X-Ray units. NABH accredited referral laboratory is in the same premises.
